The summer programme, starting from 21st July and lasting for four weeks, will consist of storytelling, music, comedy for kids, designed to engage children of all ages.
The Bluecoat will be serving Cheshire Farm ice cream over the summer holidays.

Liverpool ONE gets set for summer of fun! From a Lego ‘Pop & Play Tour’ to a dog show, there is set to be plenty of fun-filled activities for young visitors in store.
Running throughout the summer is Tickle the Ivories Piano Festival, which invites both amateurs and professionals to showcase their skills.
Also filling the summer calendar is a visit by the Lego Pop Up & Play tour on 14th and 15th August, where families can unleash their creativity with four interactive play areas, including the chance to build vehicles and create music videos.
There will be the opportunity for dog lovers to invite their furry pals to a special dog show on 5thSeptember.
Young explorers can also take part in the Nature Trail, where families have the chance to discover plants, insects and other wildlife, as well as find out more about the Old Dock, which was the world’s first ever wet dock.

World Museum

World Museum in Liverpool has now reopened its doors to its new-look Aquarium for the summer.
Families will learn about what they might find rock-pooling locally and across the UK, as well as viewing firm visitor favourites, the ‘Nemo’ fish and the rays, skates and sharks who seem to be smiling.
Visitors will discover more about the world the animals live in and how to protect them, as the Museum emphasises its educational role around biodiversity.
The Aquarium is on Floor 1 of World Museum and will reopen at 10am on Tuesday 20 July. Opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm. Entry is free.

Bridge
Breeze Hill, Millennium Green
A 72ft long and 19ft high bridge will be bringing together culture, communities and civic pride and will be located in Walton, Liverpool and will be the focal point of a three-day (5-7 August) event called Bridge.
The bridge will play host to a series of free activities, and for two nights an extraordinary outdoor performance is set to wow crowds.
The event will take place from 10am-5pm Thursday to Saturday, the community, artists and designers will come together in a series of workshops, conversations and activities which look to discover and tell the story of County ward and the people who live there.
A gravity-defying circus acrobatics, dance, comedy, theatre and live music experience, inspired by local people’s stories at 8.45pm on Friday and Saturday will create a thrilling climax.
This will be a FREE ticketed performance and further details on ticketing will be announced on Tuesday 20 July.

Festathlon

New, innovative and all female athletics festival, Festathlon heads to Liverpool on Saturday September 11th, 2021.
The festival will be a combination of athletics, music, and the city of Liverpool. Athletics will be brought to life in a new way through an innovative heptathlon team format that will celebrate the traditions of the sport whilst offering up something new for lifelong fans and first-time watchers alike. Spectators will also be entertained by a mixture of DJs and live music acts that are being provided in partnership with the Liverpool International Music Festival (LIMF) Academy.
In addition to the athletics and the music, the festival will offer new experiences for everyone in attendance. With ticketing options including access to the infield hospitality tent, based inside the athletics track next to both the finish line, the High Jump area and the music stage.
Festathlon will take place from 3pm – 10pm on Saturday, September 11th, 2021. Tickets are limited and expected to sell out quickly.

Film & Food Fest 2021

Film & Food Fest: a brand-new touring festival for summer 2021 is Heading to Liverpool this August.
The four days of outdoor cinema with classic movies and recent releases, stand-up comedy from some of the UK’s best-loved comedians, local street food from each city and specially curated short films from regional film makers.
Guests can expect everything from gourmet burgers and bruschetta to crepes and caramel ice-cream, along with a dedicated bar, serving great beers and bespoke cocktails.

This August the Baltic Weekender returns to Liverpool and is set to be their most ambitious yet! On the Waterfront

Liverpool’s iconic Pier Head will be taken over by one of the biggest shows to date this September!
Taking place from Thursday 16th September, ‘On the Waterfront’ will see artists such as Nile Rodgers & CHIC and The Zutons head back to Liverpool for a four-day long weekend of music. The event will also feature headline performances from Cream Classical featuring Kaleidoscope Orchestra, Camelphat and double platinum and MOBO award winning singer-songwriter Rebecca Ferguson.
