The old Penny Farthing on Roe Street in Liverpool City Centre has had a revamp by the Royal Court Theatre, it is now complete for you to check out the all new Courtyard Bar & Kitchen.
Many locals had previously named the pub as the roughest pub in the city before its closure in 2016.
In 2014, one Glaswegian blogger placed it at the top of his list of the worst boozers in Britain.
First floor is the restaurant which is the creation of the Royal Courts head chef Simon Collard. He and his team have created a mouth-watering mix of small place dishes based on traditional English favourites.
The ground floor is the bar area with a relaxing atmosphere for everyone who likes great beer and wine. There is a mix of local cask ales and the best International drinks brands as well as freshly made bar snacks coming out of the kitchen.
The newly renovated Courtyard Bar & Kitchen restaurant has floor-to-ceiling windows giving you outstanding views of Lime Street and St George’s Hall, while downstairs in the bar you can choose your favourite drink inside or outside on the newly created drinks terrace.
