Bold Street in Liverpool is the latest location secured by independent coffee roaster 200 Degrees, which will be its third shop opening since April 2023 and 21st overall.
This will also be the company’s second location in the city, with the Whitechapel location in the Metquarter already well-established, having opened in July 2019.
Bold Street is an ideal location for a speciality coffee shop because it is already a popular, vibrant destination for food and drink enthusiasts in Liverpool. It is home to a variety of exciting restaurants, cafes, and bars, with a good mix of chain and independent vendors.
With the addition of 200 Degrees to the mix, visitors to Bold Street can now spend the entire day eating and drinking without having to leave the postcode.
Customers at 200 Degrees can expect freshly roasted coffee direct from the roastery, daily food made in-house, a cosy environment, and a friendly hospitality team who will ensure the warmest coffee shop welcome.
200 Degrees MD Stephen Fern is keen to see the company build on its already strong reputation in the North West.
Stephen said:
“In the last few years, we’ve really been made to feel at home in key locations like Liverpool, Manchester and Chester. Bringing better coffee to these cities and sharing our knowledge and passion through our barista schools in Chester and Manchester, has gained us the trust of the North West’s discerning coffee drinkers! We’re now in a position to increase our offering to the people of Merseyside with a coffee shop on one of the best streets for food and drink in the city.”
Work will start soon at 17-19 Bold Street, on the ground floor beneath the popular restaurant Bundobust. The new location is scheduled to open in early November, and recruitment has already begun, with new opportunities in various hospitality roles now available.
You can join the 200 Degrees team in their newest location by sending your CVs to boldstreet@200degs.com. Passion and personality essential, experience not necessary.
