Wepre Park is a 160 acres country park with beautiful ancient woodland rich in wildlife and history in the heart of Connahs Quay. The park is home to Ewloe Castle and contains a children’s playground and a visitor centre.
Nice an easy stroll along the stream before you get to Ewloe Castle. The walk is well pathed so easily done with kids, dogs and even a pram (although you may struggle getting to the castle in the pram).
As you get there you’ll see the water fall straight away so even if you just wanted to go an see the waterfall you don’t have to walk far to see it.
This doesn’t seem to be a loop walk so it’s a there and back type of walk. If you’re after a short walk with a short drive then this one is recommended.
