November not only marks World Vegan Day, but also World Vegan Month! And we want to let you know of some of the tasty dishes you can enjoy at venues in Liverpool.
World Vegan Month which was established in 1994, is celebrated all around the world, so why not join the Vegan movement right in your own backyard and some delicious dishes while taking in the stunning waterfront views.
Titanic Hotel Liverpool

Even though Stanley’s Bar and Grill, with its theatrical open kitchen, is known for its grills and steaks, it has a dedicated vegan menu too. Dishes include chickpea hummus with charred flatbread, a gunpowder glazed tofu with stir fry veg and butternut squash and chickpea curry, and don’t miss vegan chocolate brownie or sticky toffee pudding for dessert.

Maray always excels at imaginative veg dishes so no surprise that it’s got a fabulous vegan small plates menu. To celebrate the occasion, Maray are also offering two specials from Nov 1-7, including pan fried sprouts with saffron bread sauce and roast crown prince squash with popped quinoa.

Family-run Peaberry showcases locally-sourced ingredients in its breakfasts and lunch dishes. Start the day off right with a healthy vegan granola or smoothie bowl, or try mains such as skillet-baked ratatouille with vegan cheese and fresh pesto, or chive gnocchi with mushrooms, peas and asparagus.Â
Rosa’s Thai Cafe

For authentic Thai dishes, Rosa’s Thai does vegan versions of lots of its most popular dishes. Look out for the little green leaf on the menu, and choose mains like green or red Thai curry, Massaman or Penang curry made with tofu, or share a platter of fresh summer rolls, sweetcorn cakes and pumpkin crackers.

Loved for its tapas, deli platters and paella, Lunyalita at Albert Dock has a dedicated vegan menu with snacks, breads and olives, a traditional vegetable paella or tapas options like padron peppers, patatas bravas, cauli ‘wings’ with hot buffalo sauce and sweet balsamic pickled Borettane onions.Â
