Families across Merseyside are being invited to a day of entertainment and community spirit when The Rookery Community Day returns to Southport this Sunday, 5 July 2026.
Hosted at the Southport Trinity Cricket Club on Roe Lane, the annual family event will run from 12 pm until 7 pm, with all proceeds going directly to support Bebe’s Hive UK.
Following the success of previous years, the 2026 event is set to expand with a wider array of stalls, fairground rides, and an active schedule of junior and women’s cricket matches.
Visitors can expect live entertainment from local acts, including Hayley Murray, Kelly Bond, Connected Voices, So Talented, and Express Performing Arts, with Mighty Radio’s Trevor Ford hosting the main stages.
In addition to live music and sports, the grounds will feature over 20 independent vendors, family games like ‘Beat the Keeper’, a fully stocked marquee bar, and a diverse selection of local food stalls.
Admission is priced at £5 for adults and £2 for children over the age of two, with all members of the public welcome to attend.
The fundraising drive holds significant local importance. Bebe’s Hive UK is currently establishing a dedicated creative support facility in Southport designed to assist grieving children and families.
The charity was founded by Lauren and Ben King following the tragic loss of their daughter, Bebe, in 2024, to ensure young people feel safe, visible, and supported through bereavement.
Grand Raffle Details and Local Ticket Outlets

A major focal point of the afternoon’s fundraising will be a grand raffle featuring premium prizes donated by regional businesses. Supporters have the chance to win Apple AirPods 4, a £50 voucher for The Atkinson, a £50 voucher for The Grand, and a one-night stay at a Daniel Thwaites Inn.
Sports fans can also bid on a Bebe’s Hive T-shirt signed by football legend Paul Scholes, alongside various beauty treatments, fitness memberships, and gourmet hampers.
Raffle tickets are currently on sale ahead of the weekend at numerous independent shops across the town, including The Rookery, LM Beauty, The Mount, Kinderworld, Flight 22, Word of Mouth, Butcher’s Kitchen, Jennings Greengrocers, The Garden Room, Ivory Salon, and Baby Love.
