The Northern Food and Drink Virtual Festival is a brand new event  to support and showcase Northern producers, distributors and some of the great Chefs within the region in these difficult times.

The brainchild of Sean Noonan, Head Chef at the Wellbeing Farm Wedding and Events Venue, Jacky Moss from Creative Agenda and Craig Sherrington, National Finalist in the 2018 Great British Menu, the show will run entirely virtually through their dedicated Facebook page fand will feature â€˜live’ demonstrations from some of the Top Chefs in the Industry including former Great British Menu and Masterchef contestants, talented catering students and some really exceptional home cooks.

The event will also have talks and master classes from leading industry professionals and will operate through virtual online ‘tents’ with a wide selection of suppliers showcasing product and show related offers.

The team will also be supporting their nominated charity Hospitality Action and, whilst there is obviously no charge for virtual admission! would welcome a small donation to help facilitate the great work that they do.

The event will be taking place from 24th- 25th May and is being brought to you via 7 virtual tents in the form of Facebook groups.

The Chef Demo Tent will have Chefs from around the North showcasing some amazing produce and dishes throughout the day – each with their own hourly slots. Look on the front of the website, and you’ll see a section called LIVE TALK STAGE, with two dated blue lines below. Click on the arrow on the far right of each line and the running order will drop down for you, allowing you to plan what to see.

The Hot Topic Stage will have a variety of talks and Masterclass from well-known people within the industry, covering specialist cookery, wines, beer, gin etc. and a talk, on a regular loop, from our nominated charity Hospitality Action – again, please look at the website for the running order.

Within both the Chef Demo and Hot Topic tents you’ll be able to comment on the videos as they happen, show your appreciation for our Guest Chefs and ask questions which we’ll hopefully try and get answered for you in real time. These videos will be available after the event as well.

You will be able to browse freely between the tents, and view different producer’s offerings in each of the tents, and the suppliers that are supportiong the event will be posting up their offerings and details of where to access their special offers and purchase their products.

The website has direct links straight to each virtual tent – simply click on the relevant icon and you’re there, ready to shop!
