Southport is preparing for a celebration of flavour, music, and high-energy entertainment as the Southport Sausage and Cider Festival arrives at Victoria Park this Saturday, 18 April 2026.
Hosted inside the Large Beer Hall Marquee, the event promises a lively Bavarian-inspired atmosphere packed with ciders from across the UK, delicious food, and interactive experiences.
Festival-goers can choose from two distinct sessions: the afternoon session runs from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and the evening session runs from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Proudly sponsored by Thatchers Cider, the festival will feature a wide range of competitions and giveaways.
Visitors can take part in the popular spin to win experience with hundreds of prizes up for grabs, collect exclusive branded Thatchers take-home cups, and even enter for the chance to win your height in cider, one of the event’s most talked-about prizes.
Cider-Infused Sausages and Authentic Oompah Entertainment

Food lovers can indulge in a unique selection of cider-infused sausages from a local award-winning sausage maker, designed to complement the festival’s impressive drinks lineup.
Guests will enjoy a curated menu of over 20 ciders, alongside a variety of craft ales, beers, and lagers.
Entertainment will be at the heart of the festival, with the return of the crowd-favourite Bavarian Stompers oompah band, bringing authentic, foot-stomping tunes to the marquee.
A live host and DJ will keep the energy high throughout the day and evening, running competitions, giveaways, and engaging with the crowd from the stage.
High-Energy Atmosphere at Victoria Park

The fully themed beer marquee aims to transport attendees straight to Bavaria, creating a festive environment for friends, couples, and groups.
Organised by Southport Beer Festivals, the event follows the success of Southport Oktoberfest and the Southport St Patrick’s Day Shindig Party.
Tickets are expected to sell quickly, and early booking is highly recommended.
Bookings can be made via the Skiddle website for the Sausage & Cider Festival at Victoria Park, Southport, on Saturday 18 April 2026.
