Southport Christmas Spectacular will return this November, bringing a day of free festive entertainment, live performances and family activities to the town centre.
Organised by Southport BID, the popular annual event will take place from 11am until 4pm on Saturday 14 November 2026, officially launching the festive season in Southport.
Visitors can enjoy live entertainment at the Lord Street Bandstand, while a host of Christmas activities will take place outside The Vincent Hotel.
The free event will feature family-friendly shows and performances throughout the day, including Toy Story, K-Pop Vs Saja and superhero shows.
Local dance schools and Christmas choirs will also take to the stage, alongside a performance from Marshside Brass Band.
Families will also have the chance to meet well-known characters including Paddington and Buzz Lightyear, with plenty of opportunities for festive photos.
Other activities planned for the day include Christmas crafts, face painting, a giant snowglobe photo opportunity and Children’s Christmas Wellbeing Sessions.
Last year’s Southport Christmas Spectacular attracted thousands of families to the Town Hall Gardens, with another large turnout expected this year.
