Liverpool hospitality group Sefton Collection is celebrating three nominations at the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards 2026, with three of its venues shortlisted across different hospitality categories.
The independent group has received recognition for Sefton Park Hotel, Ropewalks Hotel and Dicey Reilly’s, highlighting the diversity of its portfolio and its contribution to the region’s hospitality industry.

Sefton Park Hotel has been shortlisted for Small Accommodation Provider of the Year, Ropewalks Hotel for Large Hotel of the Year and Dicey Reilly’s for Pub of the Year.
The Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards celebrate excellence across the region’s visitor economy, recognising businesses and individuals who contribute to Liverpool’s reputation as a leading destination for tourism and hospitality.
The nominations come during a period of continued growth for the region’s visitor economy, which generated £6.834 billion in 2025. Visitor numbers increased by 7.8% to 61.5 million, while visitor spending rose by 9.3%. The sector now supports more than 57,500 jobs across the Liverpool City Region.
For Sefton Collection, the triple shortlisting follows significant investment and development across its portfolio of independent hotels, serviced apartments, restaurants, bars and event spaces.
Recent improvements include a £250,000 refurbishment of Sefton Park Hotel, alongside further investment in the group’s city-centre accommodation and hospitality offering.

Conor O’Donovan, CEO of Sefton Collection, said:
“To have three of our venues shortlisted for these prestigious awards is a tremendous achievement and something we are incredibly proud of.
“What makes this particularly special is the recognition across three very different areas of hospitality, demonstrating the breadth of our offering and the individual character of our venues.
“These nominations are a fantastic endorsement of our teams, whose dedication, enthusiasm and commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences are at the heart of everything we do.
“Liverpool’s visitor economy continues to flourish, and we are delighted to play our part in its success.”
The winners will be announced at the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards ceremony on Thursday 4 February 2027 at Liverpool Cathedral, bringing together leading tourism and hospitality businesses from across the region.
Conor added:
“We are fortunate to operate in a city with such an exceptional hospitality industry, and to be recognised alongside so many outstanding businesses is a real honour. We look forward to celebrating with our industry colleagues in February.”
