Everyone loves games, pizza, cocktails and copious amounts of craft beer, so when we were told you can experience the whole lot under one roof, we wanted to know more!
Roll up Roxy Ball Room! The team behind the City’s biggest gaming and leisure venue are putting the finishing touches to their multi-million-pound new site. Anticipation is building for what is set to be the most exciting new addition to the Cavern Quarter this year.
The new super-venue, which is housed on the site of the old BHS café is the company’s 8th and largest site to date. The new venue will feature a host of leisure and gaming facilities including a four-lane bowling alley and nine-hole mini golf course along with ping pong, pool, shuffleboard, beer pong, arcade games and more!
Ideal for those who want a bit of action on their night out and the perfect spot for a get-together with a difference, Roxy will be bringing their unique mix of great drinks, cool food and world class gaming to the Cavern Quarter this Spring and the 16,000-square foot site is set to be packed with features that offer something for everyone.
Alongside the unique gaming element, Roxy Ball Room Rainford Square will be home to a whole host of private and semi-private hire areas catering for groups of all sizes – making it the ideal venue for corporate get-togethers, parties and quirky events.
Andy Evans, general manager, added: “Creating our biggest venue yet has been a really exciting experience, and we can’t wait to bring all of the different aspects of Roxy Ball Room together into one space. The sporting side of Roxy Ball Room Rainford Square is something completely new for us. We have installed 15 screens and 2 large projectors and will be showing all the best coverage from across Sky and BT Sports. It will be an exciting addition to Liverpool’s nightlife scene for sports fans. We’ve been making great progress on the venue and can’t wait to show it off when the doors open in May!”.
Matt Jones, Managing Director, added “As a company, we’re passionate about bringing people together in a fun, care-free environment and we really wanted to ensure that our newest venue has something for everyone. We’re bringing a completely unique concept to the Cavern Quarter which we hope will hugely benefit the City! Everyone involved is really looking forward to opening the venue up for the people of Liverpool to enjoy.”
The site, which is set to open to the public on Friday 3rd May, has created 45 jobs and already has bookings for Christmas and beyond. ‘We think that the combination of being in the heart of the action just off Matthew Street but also so close to the business district will be a winning combination. It’s a great destination venue for locals, tourists and corporate groups and we can’t wait to unveil the final look and get gaming!’
