This summer, Liverpool’s magnificent Sefton Park will host the In the Park Festival once again, and the lineup has just gotten better with the announcement of chart-topping band Red Rum Club.

40,000 music fans are anticipated for the singalong as they join Jamie Webster, one of Liverpool’s biggest musical success stories in recent years, for his biggest headline show to date.

The newest significant addition to the lineup for In the Park, which is expected to establish itself as a mainstay of the festival calendar, is Red Rum Club.

The northern six-piece, who just wrapped up a sell-out homecoming gig at Liverpool’s M&S Arena, have gained a lot of notoriety in recent years thanks to their extensive touring schedule, which has given them a sizable international fan base. Even global superstar Elton John has praised the band.

Their third album, “Western Approaches,” was widely praised when it was released in March of this year and debuted in the UK Albums Chart’s Top 10. Red Rum Club has a long history with Jamie Webster, having opened for him during his two sold-out On the Waterfront performances in front of 25,000 fans on Liverpool’s famous Pier Head last summer.

Sefton Park is the ideal venue for a summertime event, and Red Rum Club, led by Jamie Webster, will add to an already incredible lineup that includes The Reytons, The Mary Wallopers, and Brooke Combe. This will undoubtedly be one of the city’s biggest shows of 2024.

Tickets are on sale now here.
