Fans in Liverpool are being invited to the Newington Temple Arms to celebrate the global Netflix launch of Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.
To mark the arrival of the highly anticipated film, Netflix is partnering with the local independent pub to offer a drink on the legendary Tommy Shelby himself.
On 26 March 2026, a complimentary bar tab will be available at the venue from 4PM, allowing the city’s Peaky faithful to toast the return of a British icon.
The Newington Temple Arms is one of ten independent pubs across the country selected for this nationwide celebration.
Fans can claim their complimentary drink simply by using the legendary phrase: “By order of the Peaky Blinders.”
The event aims to support the concept of the local pub, which remains a cornerstone of British culture and community, especially as the sector faced sustained cost pressures throughout 2025.
Step Into the 1940s at Newington Temple Arms

The Liverpool venue will fully embrace a 1940s Peaky Blinders-inspired theme for the occasion.
Visitors will find limited-edition merchandise and the chance to get their hands on iconic flat caps.
While not a requirement for entry, guests are encouraged to don their best Peaky-style outfits to help bring the atmosphere of the film to life on Merseyside.
Iain Hoskins, Landlord of Newington Temple Arms, shared his excitement about hosting the Liverpool leg of the celebration:
“We’ve been here since the mid-1800s and take pride in our authentic Victorian splendour, featuring original treasures found right here in storage during the refurb and our rehung 100-year-old pub telephone which perfectly lends itself to the Peaky Blinders 1940s atmosphere.
“This is why we think this is the perfect setting to celebrate this series in Liverpool. We can’t wait to put on our flat caps and immerse ourselves in the film for this celebration.”
The Return of a Legend to the Big Screen

Directed by Tom Harper and written by series creator Steven Knight, the new film features Academy Award winner Cillian Murphy returning to his career-defining role.
The star-studded cast also includes Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, Sophie Rundle, Barry Keoghan, and Liverpool’s own Stephen Graham.
Set against the backdrop of a bombed 1940s Birmingham, the story follows Tommy Shelby as he emerges from exile to reckon with his family legacy.
Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man is currently in cinemas and arrives on Netflix on 20 March.
The Liverpool bar tab event on 26 March provides a unique opportunity for fans to come together and celebrate the film’s release in a setting that mirrors the grit and style of the series.
Following the Liverpool launch, the celebration will continue in other major cities including Manchester, Birmingham, and Edinburgh throughout the weekend.
