The new prison-themed immersive cocktail experience, Alcotraz: Cell Block Three-Six will open on Seel Street in Liverpool next month.
The venue is inspired by films and TV shows which have brought infamous prison tales to life–it features 10 cells that can hold 50 guests for public experiences or private hires (made up of two hours each).
Guests are tasked with smuggling liquor past The Warden while getting it into the hands off some long-standing inmates who then transform their contraband liquid joys into cocktails!
When you visit Alcotraz, your criminal history will be made. You can create a unique record from the Department of Justice before being led into prison and given an orange jumpsuit so that it’s harder for anyone else trying escape with their spirits!
Behind bars, you will come across a cast of shady characters and the notorious bootlegging gang who are always up for some old-fashioned cocktails.
The cocktail experience first opened in London, generating global headlines and controversy. The Alcotraz location has since launched other sites such as Manchester or Brighton to satisfy the public’s demand for unique evenings out with friends!
Sam Shearman, the creator of Alcotraz and founder of Inventive Productions, says:
“We are so excited to be launching the next Aloctraz experience in Liverpool this March.
“After such a great response to Alcotraz Manchester last year and the continued support for the experiences in London and Brighton we’re thrilled to be able to grow the Alcotraz brand further.
“This new Liverpool site will see us experiment with really ambitious expansions to our unique storyline.”
You can now book a birthday celebration you will never forget, behind bars! from March 2022.
