To celebrate International Women’s Day 2026, Metquarter and Everyman Cinema Liverpool have teamed up with local social enterprise Girls With Dreams Club for an evening of inspiration, storytelling, and cinema.
Taking place on Thursday, 5 March at 6 pm, the event features a cross-generational panel discussion hosted by presenter Gemma Cutting, followed by a screening of the feminist phenomenon Barbie.
The evening highlights the unique power of mother-daughter partnerships in business and the importance of uplifting the next generation of female leaders.
Inspiring Mother-Daughter Duos Take the Stage
The panel features two influential Liverpool-based teams: Angela and Harriet Maguire, founders of The Event Agency, and Pauline Fleming and Cornelia Nelson, co-founders of Depth Training CIC.

These duos will share their journeys navigating entrepreneurship and the creative industries while balancing family dynamics.
Pauline Fleming, a professional actor known for her role in Coronation Street, brings decades of experience to the stage alongside her daughter Cornelia, an expert in higher education and career readiness.
Together, they exemplify how empathy and innovation bridge the generational gap.
