The countdown to Christmas has begun, and Imagine That! has a packed Christmas calendar to get all the family into the festive spirit.
This weekend, the popular Liverpool children’s activity centre is opening its doors to a holiday extravaganza brimming with magical surprises, naughty elves and a whole lot of festive fun. Expect to leave with heaps of Christmas crafts including festive bags, hats, magnets and sweet treats.
Running until December 23, the event promises to bring Christmas cheer for children aged one to 10 every weekend and December 22 and 23. On select days midweek, they also offer plenty of toddler Christmas activities at their Toddler Hangouts.
‘Christmas Bells, Mischievous Elves’ offers families the chance to have some festive fun across four festively decorated zones, including an immersive role play village, a hands-on science zone, an art and craft zone and an outdoor area where ‘snow’ showers are forecast every day.

Twelve crafts of Christmas
The festivities include 12 fun-filled Christmas crafts that you can take home to fill your Christmas Eve bag, all included in the admission price.
Think festive favourites such as hot chocolate poppers, candy cane mice, reindeer food and a snow globe craft. Each activity is designed to spark creativity and curiosity, ensuring every child goes home with some wonderful creations, and a souvenir photograph.
Magical snow showers
No snow yet? No worries! Expect a “100% chance of snow flurries”, as the centre experiences magical snowstorms throughout the day.
Live science shows
Visitors will get to experience the ‘Ice Ice Elfie Science Show’, where Christmas-inspired experiments are brought to life by one of the many naughty elves.
Festive decorations
Explore the fabulously decorated Imagine That! centre with surprises along the way to bring the Christmas spirit to life, creating a festive buzz for visitors young and old!

And with our mischievous elves getting into the Christmas spirit, we promise a memorable experience for the whole family!”
Christmas crafts and laughs with the elves lasts 2hr 45minutes over the four zones. Spend the first half of your visit in Imagination Village and Artbeatz (90 minutes) then move to the Science Zone and Slime Factory (75 minutes), which has been transformed into a temporary craft and sweet treat workshop. Slime returns after Christmas.
Open weekends throughout November and December, as well as Monday, December 22 and Tuesday, December 23. The centre is also open select days midweek for special toddler Christmas activity sessions. It is a short drive from the M62 on Wavertree Technology Park and offers free parking.
