Magic WKND 2026 is already making history, becoming the fastest-selling edition in the event’s 20-year run as it prepares to land at Hill Dickinson Stadium for the very first time.
Nearly 50,000 tickets have been snapped up since going on sale last month, marking record-breaking demand for rugby league’s flagship Super League weekend, which first launched in Cardiff back in 2007.

Taking place on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 July 2026, the two-day sporting spectacle will see all 12 UK-based Super League clubs go head-to-head at Everton’s stunning new waterfront home — bringing the sport’s biggest rivalries and derby clashes right to Liverpool’s docks.
Event organisers RL Commercial have confirmed that:
- Lower tier seating is already sold out for Sunday and Full Weekend Passes
- Trinity Bar and Village Street are sold out across Saturday, Sunday and Full Weekend Passes
- Hospitality sales have passed 60% capacity within just one month
With very limited lower tier tickets remaining for Saturday, fans are being urged to secure their seats as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
The buzz follows a hugely successful autumn test match at the stadium, which hosted a sold-out Rugby League Ashes clash between England and Australia, marking the venue’s first major non-football event.
Since opening, Hill Dickinson Stadium has quickly cemented its status as one of the UK’s leading large-scale venues. Alongside Premier League football and Magic WKND, the stadium is also set to host a Côte d’Ivoire v Scotland World Cup warm-up match, UEFA EURO 2028, and further major events expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
With momentum building and tickets flying out, Magic WKND 2026 is shaping up to be one of the biggest sporting weekends Liverpool has seen — as thousands of rugby league fans prepare to descend on the city’s iconic waterfront for a true summer showpiece.
RL Commercial’s Director of Marketing and Communications Joe Steel said:
“There’s a clear excitement about taking one of the biggest dates in the rugby league calendar to Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium – and it’s brilliant to see supporters responding in this way.
“We’re hoping it will be the biggest and best Magic WKND yet with all the ingredients there to make for an absorbing and enthralling two days of action.
“There’s a full festival experience waiting for fans to enjoy – on and off the pitch.
“Plenty of supporters who witnessed the Ashes Test match at Everton in November were amazed by the world-class venue. And Super League is looking forward to being the next to take the stage.”
Magic WKND offers a full festival atmosphere, including unreserved seating, a pass-out system to enjoy the Budweiser Plaza fan zone, live entertainment, in-bowl fan games and competitions.
Supporters from all 37 professional rugby league clubs are already represented among the tens of thousands of tickets sold.
Early-bird tickets, with a 20% discount, remain on sale until midnight on Thursday 26 March. Everton Season Ticket, Premium and Forever Blue+ Members have already been contacted, and will be contacted again, with information on how to secure seats and access to premium bar and restaurant packages for this landmark event.
