This summer, Liverpool will welcome SoundYard, a bold new addition to the city’s music scene. Launching in June 2025, the 900-capacity venue is set to become a dynamic hub for electronic music and community connection, hosting curated day parties, immersive club nights, and a diverse programme that goes far beyond the music.
Located in the heart of the Baltic Triangle, SoundYard is a unique indoor-outdoor space that will champion a broad spectrum of electronic sounds—from house, disco, and jungle to underground and experimental genres. With cutting-edge audio-visual technology, the venue promises an immersive experience tailored for both artists and audiences.

SoundYard is built for both community and club culture. With a forward-thinking approach to programming, the venue will spotlight a mix of local grassroots talent and international names, offering everything from open-air daytime parties to late-night dancefloor sessions spanning house, techno, garage, jungle, and more.
Kevin MacManus, Head of UNESCO City of Music for Liverpool, said:
“Alongside our already existing network of brilliant grassroots venues we can welcome what looks to be one of the most exciting additions to our already vibrant electronic music scene.”
SoundYard’s commitment to inclusion and diversity is reflected in its collaborations with local collectives like YeahitsRenee, Conduit Sound, and others—alongside bookings from major global talent. From day one, SoundYard aims to build a lineup that reflects the full spectrum of the scene.

More Than Music: A Space for Independent Culture
SoundYard isn’t just about nightlife. From morning to evening, it’s a place for people to come together and celebrate independent culture. Highlights of the daytime schedule include:
- The YardSale – A monthly marketplace featuring vintage fashion, vinyl, streetwear, and art by local creatives, soundtracked by live vinyl DJ sets.
- Disco Brunch – A twice-monthly social event with bottomless drinks, shared plates, and disco classics delivered by live DJs.
And that’s just the beginning.
Graham Stanley, MD at Jacaranda, said:
“Myself and The Jacaranda team would like to extend a warm welcome to our newest neighbours SoundYard, a brand new addition to the Baltic Triangle. The launch of SoundYard will be an exciting moment not just for artists, but everyone invested in Liverpool’s music scene. I’m excited to see what it becomes!”
The full launch lineup and event schedule will be revealed soon. Stay up to date by following @wearesoundyard on social media and signing up on the website—plus, don’t miss your chance to win entry to every event this summer, a prize valued at over £2,000.
