Liverpool ONE launch new Mental Health and Wellbeing Framework 'All for One'

Liverpool ONE has launched a new Mental Health and Wellbeing Framework to improve the resilience and wellbeing of its workforce.

The framework has been designed to provide support within the organisation and has taken inspiration from the blueprint developed by MIND, the mental health charity, in collaboration with the emergency services.

All for ONE Champions are being recruited internally as part of the new framework and will receive mental health first aid training to enable them to act as a wellbeing representatives across the company

Liverpool ONE has outlined the core aims of the framework to be:

·         Tackling mental health stigma

·         Improving workplace wellbeing

·         Building the resilience of our team

·         Improving access to information

·         Improving pathways to support

The framework has been carefully crafted to involve all team members across the organisation, ensuring a well-rounded and inclusive approach.

All for ONE Champions will be responsible for signposting colleagues to the correct support, arranging activities in line with events such as Mental Health Awareness Week and feeding back insight to the relevant teams, helping to coordinate the most fitting support programmes possible.

Iain Finlayson, Estate Director at Liverpool ONE, commented: “We are pleased to launch our internal framework and look forward to supporting our employees in a way that’s most beneficial to them. Understanding the needs of our colleagues and customers is crucial to providing help and we hope to break as many barriers surrounding mental health as possible.”

As well as supporting the team, Liverpool ONE provides grants through the Liverpool ONE Foundation to local organisations who deliver projects based around young people’s health and wellbeing.  Since 2009 the Foundation has distributed £2.5 million to groups from the Liverpool City Region, most recently awarding 10 grants this year to charities including Priority Youth Project in Liverpool, The Positivitree Ltd in Birkenhead, Footsteps 2000 Limited in St Helens, Sefton-based Ykids, and Elsie’s Moon on the Wirral.
