Liverpool ONE is preparing for a packed October of family entertainment, with the return of its free Halloween Party, the spectacular River of Light festival and a host of activities to enjoy throughout half term.
The popular Liverpool ONE Halloween Party will take place on Saturday 31 October, from 11am until 4pm, promising a day of spooky fun for visitors of all ages.

Hosted by radio presenter Leanne Campbell, the free event will feature drumming workshops, face painting, zombie dance workshops, street performers and a collection of spooky characters, including witches and the Humber monster.
One of the highlights will be the return of the Halloween fancy dress competition, giving visitors the chance to show off their most creative costumes. The winner will receive £200 to spend at Liverpool ONE, with additional prizes available for runners-up.
The celebrations will coincide with the return of River of Light, which runs from 23 October to 1 November.

The popular free festival will once again illuminate Liverpool with a series of spectacular light installations across the city, including a standout artwork located at Liverpool ONE.
Families visiting the city centre during the evenings will be able to experience the illuminated trail alongside Liverpool ONE’s shops, restaurants and attractions.
Brendan Hattam, Centre Director at Liverpool ONE, said:
“October is shaping up to be a jam-packed month at Liverpool ONE. The return of River of Light and the free Liverpool ONE Halloween Party are set to bring even more excitement to the city, offering fantastic experiences for families, visitors, and the wider community to enjoy.
“For those wanting to visit us during the half term, there’s plenty of family-friendly retail options, from LEGO, Pop Mart and Sephora to John Lewis. For a spot of dinner afterwards, families can choose from a wide range of family favourites, including PizzaExpress, Wagamama and Zizzi.”

Visitors looking to get into the winter spirit early can also head to Stone’s Throw at Chavasse Park, where curling will offer a taste of the colder months ahead.
There is plenty more to keep families entertained throughout October, with Gravity MAX offering e-karting, virtual reality gaming and immersive experiences.

Other popular attractions include the Upside Down House and the much-loved Paddington Bear statue, situated outside Waterstones.
With free Halloween entertainment, illuminated artworks, shopping, dining and activities for all ages, Liverpool ONE is set to be a popular destination for families looking to make the most of October half term.
