After more than three decades at the heart of Liverpool’s hospitality and leisure industry, Marian Cotter is celebrating a career milestone as she marks her first anniversary with Sefton Collection.
One of the city’s most recognisable hospitality figures, Marian joined the independent hotel and leisure group as Business Development Manager 12 months ago, bringing with her an extensive network of contacts and decades of experience across Liverpool’s leisure, tourism and business communities.
During her first year, Marian has played an important role in supporting Sefton Collection’s continued growth, developing new commercial partnerships, strengthening corporate relationships and creating new opportunities across the group’s expanding portfolio.
Her career has been built on long-standing relationships, industry knowledge and a reputation for professionalism, with those connections proving invaluable as Sefton Collection continues to strengthen its presence across Liverpool.
The group’s growing portfolio includes Sefton Park Hotel, 19 Duke Street Hotel, Ropewalks Hotel, Dicey Reilly’s Irish Sports Bar, The Clubhouse and Baby Clubhouse.
Conor O’Donovan, Chief Executive of Sefton Collection, said:
“Marian has made an outstanding contribution during her first year with Sefton Collection. Her knowledge of Liverpool’s hospitality and leisure industry is second to none, and the relationships she has built throughout her career are invaluable. She understands that successful hospitality is about people. Whether she’s introducing a new corporate client, developing partnerships or representing Sefton Collection at business events, Marian brings professionalism, warmth and genuine enthusiasm to everything she does. As we continue to grow the business, Marian’s experience and passion for Liverpool will remain a huge asset to Sefton Collection.”
Reflecting on her first year with the company, Marian Cotter said:
“The past year has flown by. It’s been incredibly rewarding to become part of a business that shares my passion for Liverpool and has such exciting ambitions for the future. I’ve always believed that lasting success comes from building genuine relationships, supporting local businesses and creating opportunities for collaboration. Sefton Collection has an exceptional portfolio of venues, and I’m proud to have spent the last year helping introduce more people to everything we have to offer.
It’s been a pleasure to be part of such an incredible team over the past year. I’m proud to play a small part in enhancing Liverpool’s hospitality offering, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for Sefton Collection.”
Over the past year, Marian has represented Sefton Collection at networking and business events across the Liverpool City Region, introducing the group to new clients and organisations while helping to raise the profile of its hotels, bars and hospitality venues.
Her first anniversary represents another landmark in a career spanning more than 30 years in Liverpool’s hospitality sector, during which she has become a familiar face within the city’s business and leisure communities.
As Sefton Collection continues to invest in Liverpool and develop its hospitality brands, Marian’s experience and established relationships are expected to remain an important part of the company’s long-term growth plans.
The milestone also underlines Sefton Collection’s focus on investing in experienced people with strong connections to the city and an in-depth understanding of Liverpool’s hospitality industry.
