A Liverpool entrepreneur who launched her business from her kitchen table during lockdown is celebrating the biggest success of her career after her latest luxury garden furniture collection sold out in just nine days.
Jade Ainsworth, 42, originally from Calderstones, experienced unprecedented demand for the Marbella Collection, with customers placing orders before the furniture had even arrived in stock.
More than 50 sets were secured through pre-orders as customers across the UK and overseas prepared their gardens for the summer weather.
The achievement marks another major milestone for House of Glitz and Glamour, the luxury outdoor living brand Jade founded six years ago after the coronavirus pandemic brought her successful modelling career to an abrupt halt.
Faced with the uncertainty of lockdown and the pressure of supporting her family and paying household bills, Jade began selling garden furniture from her kitchen table.
What started as a hobby quickly developed into a thriving business.
Within 12 months, she had sold more than 300 garden furniture sets, generated a turnover of more than £400,000 and secured a mortgage on her own home. She also became one of her supplier’s highest-performing retailers.
Jade has since taken the business a step further by creating and launching her own exclusive furniture collections.
Her newest design, the Marbella Collection, exceeded expectations by selling out through pre-orders alone in nine days, making it one of the fastest-selling ranges in the company’s history.
Designed exclusively by Jade, the collection combines contemporary outdoor living with timeless styling.
It features a premium aluminium frame, hand-woven rattan detailing and deep-filled luxury cushions, alongside an integrated gas fire pit table and a rise-and-fall dining table.
A matching side table and coordinating luxury sun loungers complete the collection, which has been designed to transform gardens into sophisticated spaces for dining, relaxing and entertaining.
The complete Marbella Collection is priced at £1,495 and includes the luxury corner sofa set and matching sun loungers.
The Marbella Corner Sofa Set is also available separately from £1,095, while the matching luxury sun loungers are priced from £595.
The rapid sell-out represents Jade’s greatest achievement since launching House of Glitz and Glamour and demonstrates how a business started during one of the most uncertain periods of her life has grown into a successful luxury outdoor living brand.
