The Liverpool Coffee Festival returns in 2025—bigger, bolder, and more caffeinated than ever! Taking place over the weekend of 7–8 June, it’s a double shot of everything coffee lovers crave. Following the success of last year’s event, this year’s festival will dive even deeper into coffee culture, featuring cutting-edge coffee tech, sustainable and ethical producers, and a warm dose of Liverpool’s renowned hospitality.
The event will feature a larger number of coffee and food brands in this second year of the festival, with over 20 brands covering independent brewers, roasters, street food, delicious baked goods, local charities, coffee ceramics, live music, and more.

Creativity is everything to the people behind the Liverpool Coffee Festival, so you can expect latte art, the best coffee-flavoured foods and puddings alongside other delicious food on site! Black Lodge Brewing are also creating a special coffee beer with the help of Crosby Coffee, so if you fancy something alcoholic but don’t want to miss out on the caffeine, they’ve got you covered.
It isn’t just about inviting industry-heads and coffee connoisseurs to drink some nice coffee over the weekend, although this is an enjoyable part of proceeding. It’s about connecting the dots of the culture as a whole in a chilled out space where you can drink great coffee with your friends. There’s a lot of interesting things that go into producing coffee as well as the different creative and tech elements, such as the art of coffee, the latest equipment and machinery, coffee tableware, and sustainable and ethical practices.
The weekend will include panel talks, cuppings, and tastings with roasters, green importers, brewers, and industry-experts from all areas of the coffee world. You’ll learn more about how everything comes together to create that perfect moment you have with your favourite cup of coffee.

Whether you want to find out more about ethical coffee farming and green importers, where that milk you pour in your coffee comes from, the latest in sustainable packaging, or learn more about cutting-edge grinders and coffee machines, Liverpool Coffee Festival is the place to be this June.
There are some great coffee festivals out there in the UK, with a special nod to the London festival, but as we all know, Liverpool’s hospitality scene has been on the rise for many years. A city with a warm welcome and, crucially, a wide range of independent coffee roasters, brewers and a thriving population of coffee lovers, it’s about time that a larger celebration of coffee was hosted here.
By making it an annual event, the organisers are certain that the speciality coffee scene and the overall culture of coffee in Liverpool will be talked about in the same way as Manchester has been in recent years. The 2025 Liverpool Coffee Festival is a step up in size and quality from last year, and it’ll only get better as the scene itself continues to grow.
The festival will be taking place on Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th June at Black Lodge Brewery.
