Shakespeare North Playhouse aims to bring people together to participate in a one-of-a-kind programme of Shakespeare-inspired performances, activities, and conversations that are relevant to all of us.
A traditional 470-seat timber-framed Shakespearean theatre at its heart will host a variety of vibrant new performances. Theatre, music, comedy, workshops, events, and activities will spill out into the exhibition gallery, studio, and Sir Ken Dodd Performance Garden, creating a welcoming environment full of joy and creativity for all.
