Authentic Greek street food brand Laros is celebrating five years in Liverpool with a major one-day event on Bold Street, bringing together customers, partners, and the wider community.
Scheduled for Saturday 23 May 2026, the anniversary event will see the business transform its original city centre venue into a lively party featuring DJs, Greek dancing, and an interactive wheel of fortune.
As a thank you to the local community, the brand is hosting a £5,000 giveaway, headlined by a three-night holiday to Greece for two people.
Visitors who place an order during the day will receive complimentary food samples, exclusive Uber offers, Coca-Cola merchandise, and various supplier prizes.
Specific rewards available on the day include half-price orders, £100 and £30 store vouchers, a month of free loukoumades desserts, and weekly free gyros wraps for the remainder of the year.
Established by Crete-born owner Nikolaos Fylladitakis, the independent business launched its flagship site with a mission to introduce genuine Greek street food to Merseyside, sourcing ingredients directly from Greece for in-house preparation.
Over the last five years, the company has expanded across the North West, opening further locations in Mossley Hill, Blackstock Market, Ardwick, and Sale.
The upcoming weekend celebrations will focus entirely on the original Bold Street location, which remains the central hub of the brand’s regional operations.
Customers who purchase any item during the Saturday event will be eligible to spin the promotional prize wheel, with the live dancers, music, and activities running between 3 pm and 5 pm.
Founder Discusses Brand Journey and North West Expansion from Flagship Venue

The independent hospitality business has developed a loyal regional following since introducing its traditional menu to the city’s casual dining sector.
Owner Nikolaos Fylladitakis explained:
“From day one, our mission was to bring authentic Greek street food to Liverpool, sourcing the best ingredients from Greece and making everything fresh, in-house.
“The support we’ve had from the city over the past five years has been incredible.
“Liverpool has truly embraced what we’ve created and we’ve seen a real love for authentic Greek flavours grow.
“We wanted to celebrate this milestone properly and give something back to the community that has supported us from the beginning.
“The event on Bold Street is all about bringing people together, sharing great food and creating a real atmosphere with over £5,000 worth of prizes to give away!
“The trip to Greece is something really special for us. It’s a chance for someone to experience the food, culture and lifestyle that inspired Laros in the first place.
“Alongside the trip will be a whole range of prizes from vouchers to hampers and more.”

The milestone event highlights the resilience of independent food operators within Liverpool’s competitive city centre hospitality landscape.
By combining targeted customer incentives with traditional cultural entertainment, the brand aims to drive high street engagement.
The localised celebration provides an interactive marketing platform for the company’s expanding network of restaurants across Merseyside and Greater Manchester.
