Is Baltimore Street now home to Liverpool’s smallest bar?

  • February 24, 2022

They say good things come in small packages, and the words couldn’t be any more fitting than when paying a visit to Liverpool’s newest bar, the Baltimore.

Located in the quaint setting of Baltimore Street, the new venue, which opens this weekend, Friday 25th February, proves that you don’t need to be big in order to be good.

Is Baltimore Street now home to Liverpool’s smallest bar?

Baltimore certainly packs a punch on a small scale, with the family-friendly venue offering coffee shop vibes throughout the day and a chilled bar ambience going into the evenings and weekends.

Taking bragging rights as possibly the city’s smallest bar, visitors can access the venue just off the cobbled road via Rodney Street and Hardman Street.

The Baltimore is set to be a popular haunt just off the beaten track of the Georgian Quarter, with its black plush leather seating, cosey layout, and white wooden main bar centrepiece embellished with its name.

The bar offers a wide selection of beers, with Corona and Bud Light on tap and Camden bottled beers. There is also a large choice of wines and spirits, as well as non-alcoholic drinks.

Showcasing live football and major sporting events, the Baltimore Bar will also host live music, quiz nights, and movie nights. The Baltimore is available for private event hire, seating up to 40 people, ideal for family and friend celebrations. The venue is also the perfect location for catch up with friends and date night.

Glynn the GM of the Baltimore said:

“ The Baltimore is a small cosy venue set over two floors which we feel fits into surrounding areas perfectly. Just off the hustle and bustle of Hardman Street on one end and around the corner from the Sherlock Holmes style setting of Rodney Street on the other end.

“The venue is set across two floors. From the main bar on entering to the upstairs seating area, which is perfect for watching a game, live unplugged gig or for private hire. As restrictions are finally dropped we look forward to Spring in the city.”
