Christmas celebrations at Hilton Liverpool City Centre are getting an Alpine makeover this year, with the hotel unveiling an Après Ski-inspired programme of parties, private events and festive afternoon teas.
Throughout December, the Liverpool ONE hotel will embrace the atmosphere of a mountain retreat, combining seasonal menus, drinks, music and dancing with festive décor overlooking the city’s waterfront.
The hotel’s Festive Party Nights will be at the centre of the celebrations, taking place on Fridays and Saturdays across 4-5, 11-12 and 18-19 December.
Tickets cost £59 per person, including an arrival drink, three-course dinner, DJ and dancing.
Guests can choose from seasonal dishes including cured salmon carpaccio and bacon-wrapped chicken roulade stuffed with truffle and tarragon, alongside winter lodge braised beef cheek and cabin-roast butternut squash and sage.
For dessert, the Alpine theme continues with Rudolph’s Salted Caramel Délice, followed by tea, coffee and mince pies.
Groups planning their own Christmas celebration can also book a private Mix & Mingle party at the hotel’s IMAGINE venue, with space for up to 200 guests.
Packages start from £40 per person and include an arrival drink, DJ and dancing alongside a selection of festive canapés and small plates.
Among the dishes are fondue-style brie bites, duck confit bonbons, pigs in blankets sliders, crayfish and prawn cocktail brioche and mini Yorkshires.
Those looking for a more relaxed festive get-together can book Festive Afternoon Tea, which will be available throughout December for £35 per person.
The savoury selection includes truffle egg mayonnaise brioche, turkey with cranberry sauce and Brussels sprout slaw, smoked salmon rösti cups and mini quiches.
Mince pies, Christmas pudding cheesecake and coconut snowballs feature among the sweet treats, alongside freshly served scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam.
The experience also includes tea or barista coffee and a glass of Bottega Poeti Prosecco.
