Hawksmoor has teamed up with YouTube star and podcaster Calfreezy to create a limited-edition bacon double cheeseburger as part of the restaurant group’s 20th anniversary celebrations.
The Burgurr will be available at all Hawksmoor restaurants across the UK and Ireland from Monday, August 3.

Calfreezy, whose real name is Callum Airey, has built an audience of millions through his online videos and podcasts and has become known for ranking and reviewing burgers.
He also presents his own Golden Burger Award to restaurants that meet his standards.
A longstanding Hawksmoor customer, Calfreezy has previously ranked the restaurant group’s burgers among the best in the country independently of the new partnership.
He was given creative control over the new burger and worked alongside Hawksmoor Group Executive Chef Matt Brown to develop the finished dish.
The Burgurr features two dry-aged British beef patties, American cheese, smoked streaky bacon, white onion and a signature burger sauce, served in a milk bun.

Customers can order the burger by itself or add beef-dripping fries and peppercorn sauce, which is Calfreezy’s preferred combination.
Matt Brown, who previously worked in several Michelin-starred kitchens, is also the chef behind Hawksmoor burgers including the Big Matt and Royale with Cheese.
Hawksmoor was named as serving the World’s Best Burger in 2023, while the Royale with Cheese was more recently placed seventh in a list of the world’s ten best burgers.
Matt Brown said:
“There wasn’t a burger already sitting on the menu plan waiting for Cal’s name. We built this from scratch and I gave him real free rein.
“From day one, he had really clear ideas about what he did and didn’t want. We worked through every detail together, testing and refining, until we had something we were genuinely proud to put on the menu.
“It’s a proper Hawksmoor burger, built to the same standard as everything else we serve.”
Calfreezy said there had been added pressure to get the recipe right after spending years reviewing other restaurants’ burgers.
He said:
“I’ve reviewed and ranked more burgers than I can count, so there was real pressure on me to get it right when it came to putting my own name on one.
“Hawksmoor was an obvious partner. I’ve been going there for years and know the level of detail and quality that goes into its ingredients and menus.
“I didn’t want anything over the top or built for a moment online. It needed to genuinely be a great burger.
“I’m clearly not a chef, so thankfully Matt did the actual cooking. My job was making sure every detail lived up to what I believe are the exacting standards of a great burger.”
The collaboration forms part of Hawksmoor’s year-long celebration marking 20 years since its first restaurant opened in 2006.
The group now operates 14 restaurants across the UK, Ireland and the United States.
