Hawksmoor is celebrating 20 years since first opening its doors in London’s East End by taking customers back to where it all began.
For one day only, the restaurant group will offer its new Classics Menu at 2006 prices, giving guests the chance to enjoy the special anniversary menu for £45 per person instead of the usual £75.

The offer will be available on Monday, 29 June, across all Hawksmoor restaurants in the UK. It will be open exclusively to customers signed up to the Hawksmoor mailing list.
Bookings will go live this Friday, 19 June, through a private link sent by email to database members. Those not already signed up can join the mailing list via the Hawksmoor website, with tables expected to be snapped up quickly.
The new Classics Menu brings together some of the best-loved dishes and drinks from Hawksmoor’s two-decade history.

Starters include Old Spot Belly Ribs, which have been on the menu since day one, Charcoal-Roasted Scallops, inspired by seafood chef Mitch Tonks, and Potted Beef & Bacon with Yorkshire Puddings, which began life as a staff meal before becoming a customer favourite.
The main course is a dry-aged Longhorn ribeye, using the original breed associated with Hawksmoor, grilled over charcoal and served with classic sauces and sides including bone marrow gravy, anchovy hollandaise and beef-dripping chips.
Desserts include Hawksmoor’s much-loved Sticky Toffee Pudding, which has remained on the menu for the full 20 years, alongside Salted Caramel Rolos, a dish that once came close to sparking a trademark dispute.

The anniversary menu will also feature three cocktails that have helped shape Hawksmoor’s bar reputation: Shaky Pete’s Ginger Brew, the Grapefruit Picador and a specially created 20th Anniversary Martini.
A brand-new dessert has also been added for the occasion. The Birthday Cake, made with chocolate, hazelnut and gold leaf, is a reimagining of Hawksmoor’s Grand Rocher.
Will Beckett, Co-Founder and CEO of Hawksmoor, said:
“When we opened in Spitalfields in 2006, a pint cost £2.50, nobody had an iPhone, and we had absolutely no idea what we were doing. Twenty years, and fourteen restaurants later, we wanted to do something that felt genuinely generous rather than just celebratory. Serving the very best of our menu at the prices we charged when we started – which felt like the right way to say thank you to everyone that’s made it all possible.”

The Classics Menu also marks the long-standing relationships that have helped shape Hawksmoor over the past 20 years, including its partnerships with British farmers and its ongoing focus on responsible sourcing.
Since launching in Spitalfields in 2006, Hawksmoor has grown to 14 restaurants across the UK, Ireland and the US. It was also recently named, for the second year running, the No.2 steak restaurant group in the world by World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants.
