Fishery Manager and Lakeside Light Trail organiser Barbara Ikin said:

“We are absolutely thrilled to finally open our doors to the Lakeside Light Trail, already we have been overwhelmed with the public response and we have only been open for a couple of days.

“The children, adults and their pets all seem to be enjoying the experience. We are delighted with the support we have received so far and it’s exciting to see how the event could grow in future years.

“If you are thinking of booking, I would advise to come along as soon as possible to enjoy a quieter experience, already, as expected, the dates around Halloween are getting extremely busy. For an alternative spooky night to Halloween, you can always come along on Friday 13th”.
