Half Price during Half Term at Knowsley Safari

  • February 8, 2023
  • Editor

This February half term holiday, Knowsley Safari is making it more affordable to create family memories that last a lifetime – with half price admission on all children’s tickets, from 11th to 26th February 2023.

Children aged up to 15 years will enjoy half price entry with a full paying adult, and under threes get in for free.

As we’re all currently feeling the pinch, this discount to one of the region’s top tourist attractions makes it an ideal option for a full and fun day out – that the whole family can enjoy.

Even better, those visitors who share their favourite memory of their day out at Knowsley Safari will be in with the chance of winning an annual Gold Membership for their family – so that a whole year of exploration, entertainment and fabulous fun can be enjoyed as the prize.

Will the winning image be snapped on the five-mile Safari Drive, and which of the many different animal species will it include – White Rhino, African Lions, European Bison, Wildebeest, Bactrian Camels or Iberian Wolves?

Or perhaps it will capture a hilarious moment on the specially designed Baboon Bus, with its swinging ropes? It’s a firm family favourite to be up close and amongst the antics of this large troop of spirited monkeys.

The Foot Safari will also provide a perfect backdrop for a strong shot – sure to be a contender for a top spot in the photo competition.

It’s here that visitors will be able to photograph many more truly wild encounters, whether that’s nose-to-nose with Amur Tiger, Miron, at one of the many viewing spots in his Russian-themed habitat, meeting giraffes Alex and Orbit or the most sociable group of Meerkats.

Knowsley Safari’s Rachel Scott said: “A day out at Knowsley Safari is always fun, and full, for the whole family – not just the kids. The added bonus of half-price admission for children is sure to make it an even more attractive option for parents, grandparents and carers this February half term holiday.

“As well as the brilliant array of animals our visitors can see here – and our free to download audio guide app is packed with fun facts to make the experience educational, as well as entertaining – there are also so many other attractions, rides and refreshment stops for a whole day of exploration and memory making.”

To be in with a chance of winning Gold Family Membership – for two adults and two children – share your favourite memory of your visit on Knowsley Safari’s Facebook, Instagram or Twitter tagging @KnowsleySafari #MakingWildMemories. Deadline for entries is midnight on Tuesday 28th February. Full details and Ts & Cs can be found here.
