Liverpool are set to welcome one of the UK’s biggest touring drinks festivals as the Gin & Rum Festival returns to the city for a special 2026 event.
Taking place at The Crypt at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral on Saturday 26 September, the festival will bring together spirit lovers for an evening packed with tastings, cocktails, entertainment and the chance to discover new favourites from across the world.

Described as the UK’s biggest touring gin and rum festival, the event has previously attracted thousands of visitors across the country and will make its return to Liverpool for one weekend only.
More Than 120 Gins Rums And Tequilas Coming To Liverpool
The Liverpool event will give visitors the chance to explore a huge selection of premium spirits, with more than 120 drinks to sample.
Whether you are already a gin enthusiast or simply looking for a different night out with friends, the festival will offer the chance to discover new flavours while meeting independent producers and spirit experts.
Alongside the drinks selection, guests can expect a lively atmosphere with entertainment throughout the event, making it more than just a tasting experience.
The event will take place from 12.30 pm until 10 pm, with last entry at 9 pm, and is open to guests aged 18 and over.
The arrival of the Gin & Rum Festival adds another event to Liverpool’s growing calendar of food, drink and entertainment experiences.
The festival’s location inside the iconic Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral adds an extra sense of occasion, giving visitors the chance to enjoy cocktails and tastings in one of the city’s most recognisable buildings.
