As the curtain falls on another Premier League season, Dicey Reilly’s, Liverpool’s favourite Irish bar in Wolstenholme Square, is set to host an unforgettable matchday experience as fans gather to bid farewell to one of football’s modern greats, Mohamed Salah. 

While this season may not have met expectations for the reigning Premier League champions, the final home fixture against Brentford promises to be a day filled with pride, passion, and celebration.

Dicey Reilly’s will be at the heart of the action for the final day of the 25-26 season, offering supporters the ultimate alternative for those without tickets. 

With live music pre and post kick off, exceptional food and drinks, and 10 ultra HD screens, including four private snug areas which seat 8, fans are guaranteed a fantastic atmosphere from start to finish. 

With all Premier League games kicking off at 4.00 pm on the 24th May, get your table booked quickly to ensure one of the best seats in the bar.

Honouring the Egyptian King

Supporters will come together to honour The Egyptian King, who departs after nine remarkable years at Liverpool.

Salah leaves as one of the club’s all-time top goal scorers, currently ranked third behind legends Ian Rush and Roger Hunt. 

His extraordinary contribution includes a glittering collection of silverware which consists of two Premier League titles, a UEFA Champions League, a FIFA Club World Cup, an Emirates FA Cup, UEFA Super Cup, two Carabao Cups, and the FA Community Shield. 

Having played a key role in delivering the club’s historic 20th league title, Salah’s legacy is firmly cemented in Liverpool folklore. 

The final whistle against Brentford will mark not just the end of a season, but the closing chapter of an iconic era.

Former Captain is coming back to Anfield

In addition, preparations are underway to give a long-overdue farewell to former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson. 

Henderson, who led the club to its first league title in 30 years in 2020, remains a figure loved among fans. 

His departure to Al-Ettifaq in 2023 denied supporters the chance to say goodbye, something they now intend to rectify as he returns to Anfield with Bournemouth on the final day.

Dicey Reilly’s invites fans from across the city and beyond to raise a glass, share the memories, and celebrate two Liverpool legends in what promises to be a truly special occasion.

Liverpool Cocktail Week is returning this October, bringing 10 days of cocktails, exclusive offers and special experiences to bars and restaurants across the city. Running from Friday 9 October to Sunday 18 October 2026, the city-wide festival will return for its fourth edition, with more than 50 venues joining this year’s line-up. Cocktail lovers will be able to explore some of Liverpool’s best-known bars alongside independent venues, restaurants and hotels, with participating names including Black Cat Club, BCD, The Alchemist and Turtle Bay. Cocktails from £5 with Liverpool Cocktail Week wristbands At the heart of the festival is the official Liverpool Cocktail Week wristband, which gives holders access to hundreds of signature cocktails priced from £5, as well as discounts on drinks, food and other offers. Wristbands are valid throughout all 10 days of the festival, giving visitors plenty of opportunity to try new venues and explore Liverpool’s hospitality scene. Cocktails included in the festival will be priced between £5 and £7. Royal Albert Dock joins Liverpool Cocktail Week Royal Albert Dock Liverpool returns as the festival’s official event partner, with 11 venues around the waterfront taking part. The participating dockside venues are Delhi House, Gusto, Lunyalita, Miller & Carter, PANAM, Revolution, Rosa’s Thai, The Botanist, The One O’Clock Gun, The Long Shot and What’s Cooking? Festival-goers will also be able to collect their Liverpool Cocktail Week wristbands from Gusto, making Royal Albert Dock a convenient starting point for exploring the festival. Wristband prices start at £9.95 for Early Bird tickets, followed by £12.95 for Advance Wristbands and £14.95 for Final Release. Group wristbands for four or more people are priced at £7.95 per person.
