Faces Behind The Business – Jack Brewitt – 92 Degrees

  • June 30, 2022
  • Editor

SERIES TWO – EDITION THIRTY FOUR

In the latest edition of our ‘Faces behind the Business’ series, we caught up with Jack Brewitt, Founder and CEO of 92 Degrees; an original Roastery and coffee shops brand.

Faces Behind The Business - Jack Brewitt - 92 Degrees

When did you first get into the industry?

I co-founded 92’s flagship site just a short walk from my home when I was 20, in parallel to several years of working within tech in Silicon Valley and becoming Client Director at Social Chain, alongside Founder and Dragons’ Den investor Steven Bartlett.

How long have you worked at 92 Degrees and what is your job role?

It’s been seven years since I launched the business and I now lead a team of more than 100 employees, from heads of departments at our 4,000 sq. ft 92HQ, to in-store caffeine dealers and store leaders at 11 sites across the UK from Edinburgh to London.

What is 92 Degrees ethos?

Our brand is all about people. The 92 Family. Whether it’s the individuals that work within the team or those that we support through local communities. I know that a lot of companies say it, but our team truly is like family. We work hard together, succeed together, and support each other when times are tough. Where we are now is thanks to them – their passion for what we do and what we deliver is unrivalled.

What’s the best bit of advice you could give anyone looking at working in your line of work?

Surround yourself with like-minded awesome people. How we have been able to grow through everything is being part of a team that are dedicated to delivering for the business and without them, none of this would have been possible.

What do you love most about Liverpool?

Liverpool is the city I was born and raised in. The reasons I love it are mainly down to the people. Us scousers are some of the most determined around and this is one of the many things I love about our brilliant home.

If you could describe your business in 3 words what would they be?

Caring, exciting and driven.
