The Last Laugh comes to the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton from Tuesday 6 to Saturday 10 October 2026, bringing together the stories and humour of three of Britain’s most recognisable comedy legends.
Written and directed by Paul Hendy, the play imagines Tommy Cooper, Eric Morecambe and Bob Monkhouse sharing one rather unusual dressing room as they talk about comedy, life, death and what it really means to make people laugh.
The production stars Damian Williams as Tommy Cooper, Simon Cartwright as Bob Monkhouse and Britain’s Got Talent finalist Steve Royle as Eric Morecambe.
Blending comedy with nostalgia and more reflective moments, the West End production gives audiences the chance to revisit three hugely influential figures from British entertainment.
Performances take place at 7.30pm, with additional 2.30pm matinees on Thursday 8 and Saturday 10 October. The approximate running time is 2 hours 15 minutes including an interval, with the second act featuring a Q&A.
Tickets are priced from £25 to £48 for adults, with limited concession tickets available from £23.
