The Southport Comedy Festival, in association with Halliwell Jones Kia Southport, is back for its 15th year, and it’s shaping up to be bigger, bolder and funnier than ever.
After a record-breaking 2025 that welcomed over 6,000 comedy fans and delivered nine sold-out shows, the festival returns from 2–18 October 2026 with 17 days of non-stop laughs, as some of the biggest names from the world of comedy descend on Southport.
Once again, courtesy of Elite Events, the festival will take place in a giant luxury, heated and seated marquee set within the stunning grounds of Victoria Park – bringing top-tier comedy to the heart of our seaside town in serious style.
The first shows for 2026 are already on sale, with many more big announcements coming over the next few months.
So ditch the sofa, switch off the TV, grab your coat and come and experience real, live comedy by the coast.
