Happy Mondays and Black Grape frontman Shaun Ryder is heading to Liverpool with his new spoken word tour, Happy Mondays, and Fridays, and Saturdays, and Sundays.
Taking place in the Music Room at Liverpool Philharmonic on Friday 25 September 2026, the evening will see Ryder look back on a career that has taken him from the heart of the Madchester music scene to television screens across the country.
The tour accompanies his new memoir Happy Mondays – and Fridays and Saturdays and Sundays, with stories from his years in music, life on the road and some of the memorable moments from his career with Happy Mondays and Black Grape.
Audiences can expect an evening of stories and anecdotes from one of Manchester’s most recognisable music figures, covering everything from the excesses of the Madchester era to Ryder’s later television appearances.
