One of Liverpool’s most loved events is back, as River of Light returns to the city’s waterfront from 23 October to 1 November 2026.

The free event will once again transform Liverpool’s iconic waterfront and city centre into a glowing trail of large-scale light installations, attracting thousands of visitors each year.

Perfect for all ages, River of Light offers a unique way to explore the city after dark, with eye-catching artworks created by international artists lighting up key locations across Liverpool.
