Liverpool’s Pride will be marching from the Pier Head for the first time, marking a shift away from the traditional parade at St George’s Hall.
The new route has been designed to be fully accessible, step-free and wheelchair friendly to ensure that the whole community can get involved in the celebrations.
Members of the Queer community and its allies are invited to join in the march from 11.30am on Saturday 26 July. Liverpool’s Pride march will be led by a representative group of local trans community members, organised by Protect Scouse Dolls. Disabled and neurodivergent people will also form part of this leading group to highlight the importance of visibility and inclusion for those who have been overlooked or left behind.
Liverpool’s Pride march will travel from George’s Parade and the Three Graces through to the Strand and Salthouse Quay before concluding at M&S Bank Arena. A ticketed event at the M&S Bank Arena – which will be transformed into a standing festival space built for movement, music and celebration from 12.30pm.
