Step into a magical fairy-tale world this Christmas as Cinderella comes to The Auditorium Liverpool for a sparkling family pantomime.
This year’s cast brings together familiar faces from stage, television and Liverpool, with Bippo celebrating his 10th anniversary at The Auditorium as Buttons. He’ll be joined by Strictly Come Dancing star Neil Jones as Prince Charming, appearing from 20 December, and Liverpool internet favourite The Queen of Scotty Road as Dandini.
Also joining the cast are Dominic Mattos as the Fairy Godmother, West End performers Orla Ridpath and Shelley Anne Rivers as the Ugly Sisters, and Rebecca Lake in the title role of Cinderella.
A classic Christmas story
Cinderella dreams of leaving her life of chores behind and finding her happily ever after. When an invitation arrives for a royal ball, it could finally be her chance to meet Prince Charming.
With her loyal friend Buttons by her side and Dandini helping the Prince, Cinderella’s dreams appear to be within reach. Unfortunately, the Ugly Sisters have other ideas and are determined to cause plenty of trouble along the way.
With a little help from the Fairy Godmother, some Christmas magic and one very important glass slipper, Cinderella might just make it to the ball before time runs out.
Audiences can expect big musical numbers, dance routines, colourful costumes, impressive scenery and magical special effects, with plenty of traditional pantomime fun for children and grown-ups alike.
Get ready for a festive trip to the ball and see whether Cinderella finally gets her fairy-tale ending.
Age guidance: Suitable for all ages.
Accessibility: A dedicated British Sign Language (BSL) interpreted performance will take place on Monday 21 December at 6pm.
