The much-loved Disney Dream cruise liner is set to return to Liverpool for a one-day visit this summer, giving fans the chance to see the spectacular ship arrive and depart on the same day.
Each year, hundreds of spectators line Princes Dock to catch a glimpse of the impressive vessel as it sails in and out of the city. One of the highlights comes at departure, when the ship’s horns play iconic Disney melodies, creating a truly magical farewell on the waterfront.
While the visit always draws excitement, members of the public should note that access to the cruise terminal and the ship itself is not permitted during the stopover. Anyone keen to explore the ship’s interior will need to book a holiday directly with Disney Cruise Line.
Families can still book places on the 2026 seven-night British Isles cruise, which departs from Southampton on 7 September. Following a day at sea to enjoy the ship’s onboard attractions, the Disney Dream will arrive in Liverpool on 9 September at 9am, before departing again at 6.15pm.
As the ship sets sail, it will serenade the city with one of several classic Disney tunes, including When You Wish Upon a Star, A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes and Be Our Guest.
Onboard, passengers can enjoy a range of family-friendly experiences, from themed restaurants and a cinema to outdoor water slides and shops inspired by beloved Disney films.
