This Christmas, Hawksmoor Liverpool’s keeping things simple – great food, great drinks, and that warm, unshowy hospitality the city’s known for. The Liverpool team is sticking to what they do best: proper cooking, sound people, and a festive season that feels a bit like Christmas at your nan’s… if your nan had a charcoal grill and a killer martini list.
No sprawling set menus or obligatory turkey here. It’s the same belter of a menu you already know and love, with a few festive touches – Christmas sides, including Hawksmoor’s famous cows in blankets, and a handful of new cocktails that’ll have you feeling merry in all the right ways. It’s everything people love about Hawksmoor, just with a bit of scouse sparkle.

Hawksmoor Christmas Cocktails
The bar team’s been in the Christmas spirit, mixing up four new festive cocktails that are guaranteed to get you feeling merry.
• Baked Alaska Martini – from NYC’s Bar Snack: a bergamot and burnt cream twist on the classic.
• Custard Sazerac – from Dublin’s Sackville Lounge: a custard-infused rye and cacao sipper.
• Gus’ Holiday Punch – from Chicago’s Gus’ Sip & Dip: a clarified milk punch with Scotch, apple, and cinnamon.
• Saltamontes – from Edinburgh’s Hey Palu: a mint-choc-chip-meets-tequila festive treat.
Festive Sides
It wouldn’t be Christmas at Hawksmoor without a few indulgent sides to go alongside your steak. This year’s lineup includes:
• Hawksmoor Stuffing – a decadent mix of bone marrow, onions, high-grade beef sausage and plenty of fresh herbs.
• Cows in Blankets – steak and bone marrow chipolata sausages wrapped in bacon and finished with maple syrup.
• Brussels with Steak & Bone Marrow Sausage – Hawksmoor’s take on the festive classic, rich, savoury and a little bit indulgent.
Stocking Fillers
Skip the socks. Hawksmoor’s gift cards (from £50) promise something better, a memorable meal, great wine, and a proper welcome. Add a Hawksmoor cookbook or a box of Tributes (posh Rolos, basically) for extra brownie points.
