Bunny Tail Trail returns to the Royal Albert Dock this Easter

  • April 2, 2025

This Easter, Royal Albert Dock is once again inviting families and children to take part in its hugely popular Bunny Tail Trail, a free, family adventure taking place on Liverpool’s iconic waterfront, running from 7th-21st April.

This year’s trail promises even more excitement, where children must solve the rabbit riddles and help the Easter Bunny track down his missing golden carrot to be in with the chance of winning an incredible dock prize.

The adventure begins on the inner quay, where children can head to The Nest to pick up their free pair of fluffy bunny ears between 11am-5pm, before seeking out the 12 brightly coloured bunny vinyls which are hidden around the dock. Each bunny has its own QR code which, when scanned on a mobile, will provide a rhyming riddle giving a clue where to find the next bunny.

Once all of the 12 bunnies have been tracked down on the scenic trail, young explorers will discover the Easter Bunny’s golden carrot and can enter their details to be in with the chance of winning the ultimate family-friendly weekend on the dock.

Complete with an overnight stay at Holiday Inn Express, lunch at Italian favourite Gusto, an immersive adventure at Escape Hunt, a dock goodie bag bursting with treats including a 600g fudge box from Roly’s Fudge, magic memorabilia from House of Spells and much more, this huge prize promises one lucky family a truly memorable Easter.

Beyond the Bunny Tail Trail, the dock offers a variety of activities for visitors of all ages throughout the Easter holidays. Families can embark on an exciting waterfront adventure with Splash Tours, or head to The Beatles Story to delve into the iconic story of Liverpool’s most famous band, whilst the dock’s variety of restaurants and bars are perfect for Easter feasting. Sip on an indulgent Baileys Amaretto choctail at Miller and Carter, tuck into a roast dinner at The Botanist or pick up a sweet treat from Quay Confectionery.

Shoppers can also browse unique gifts and souvenirs in the dock’s array of shops, such as Easter-themed memorabilia from The Nest including pastel coloured baskets perfect for egg-hunting, or Harry Potter Chocolate Frogs from House of Spells keeping in with the chocolate theme.

With its array of family-friendly activities, unique Easter treats and beautiful waterfront setting, the dock is the perfect destination for a memorable experience with family or friends this Easter.
