Bowring Park is gearing up for its biggest summer yet, with a packed programme of family events, live entertainment and community activities continuing throughout the school holidays in Huyton.
The next event takes place this Sunday, 19 July, as the popular Summer Family Fun Day returns with a full day of activities designed for all ages in Knowsley and across Merseyside.
Running from 11am until 6pm, the event will feature fairground rides, bouncy castles, circus workshops, face painting, local market stalls, live entertainment and family attractions across the park.
Visitors can also enjoy Bowring Park’s 18-hole golf course, FootGolf and the Coach House café, making it a full day out for families looking to make the most of the summer holidays.
New for this year’s event, attendees will also be able to explore a BYD vehicle showcase, with representatives on hand to demonstrate the latest range of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, answer questions and offer test drives throughout the day.
The Summer Family Fun Day is just one of a packed programme of events taking place across Bowring Park this summer, including Family Sports Day, the Bowring Park Dog Show, live music, guided bike rides, K-Pop performances, circus workshops and the Summer Family Fun Day finale on 31 August.
Alongside the summer events programme, grow CIC continues to deliver a wide range of community activities at Bowring Park, including weekly walking and gardening groups, volunteering opportunities and wellbeing programmes. The aim is ensure Bowring Park continues to be a place where people can connect, be active and enjoy affordable experiences close to home.
