Albert’s Schloss to open this Autumn in Liverpool, joining its sister venue Albert’s Schenke in the city.
The new addition will be located at Radiant House on Bold Street, a former food market which is set to be brought back to life after being derelict for over three years, with creators Mission Mars investing £3m into the new site.
Promising to be a retreat for recreation, indulgence, pleasure and debauchery, Albert’s Schloss will be inviting guests to discover new things, celebrate one another, and revel in the wunder of Schloss.
The venue will be influenced by travels across Alpine Europe, with Alpine dishes served through the day and European beers being served.
Mission Mars want to turn the building’s basement, ground floor, mezzanine and part of its first floor into a restaurant and bar with a stage for local artists to perform.
Roy Ellis, chief executive of Mission Mars, said:
“It’s a stunning art-deco building on Liverpool’s busiest footfall street, and we’re delighted to be bringing it back to life as Albert’s Schloss.
“We’ve designed a beautiful space, restoring a 1,000 sq ft glazed atrium while installing a large stage, green room, two large bars, an artisan bakery, a fresh tank beer system and restaurant dining for more than 500 guests.
“The first floor will be home to Ludwig’s Tavern, offering artisan Schnapps, a vermouth bar, shuffleboard and other tavern games.”
The Liverpool venue will be the third Albert’s Schloss, following the Manchester flagship and Albert’s Schloss Birmingham, which opened in December 2021. Mission Mars also operates Liverpool ‘s Albert’s Schenke on Hanover Street and Rudy’s Neapolitan Pizza also located on Bold Street.
