A bold new attraction, Scouse Games, has landed in the city this season — and it couldn’t be further from a Beatles tour.
Liverpool’s first-ever inflatable games experience has officially launched, delivering a loud, full-throttle celebration of modern Scouse culture. The experience transforms the city’s most infamous characters and tongue-in-cheek icons into giant, custom-built inflatables, creating a fast-paced, round-robin games competition unlike anything else in the UK.

Built by the award-winning team behind The Romans — one of Liverpool’s most talked-about immersive experiences — Scouse Games is already being tipped as part of a new wave of city tourism. It’s a shift away from generic sightseeing and towards something more authentic, funny, and fiercely local.
The creators previously picked up Tourism Business of the Year at the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards (2022), and this latest project is louder, bolder and completely unapologetic in its Scouse identity.
At the heart of Scouse Games are seven original inflatable challenges, each inspired by Liverpool’s most notorious characters and cultural references. Among them is the now-viral Purple Wacky game, whose controversial clips have clocked up more than half a million views online in a matter of weeks.

Despite the Scouse Games website having only been live for two months, the experience has already been snapped up by four major UK hen and stag agencies — including Chillisauce, GoHen, StagWeb, and The Stag Company.
Bookings are already flooding in through partner agencies and direct enquiries, with industry insiders pointing to Scouse Games as one of the fastest-adopted group experiences currently launching in a UK city. Early demand suggests visitors are actively seeking something unmistakably Liverpool — not an activity that could exist anywhere else.
Founder Joe Clarke, creator of Scouse Games, said:
“Liverpool doesn’t need another generic attraction. What people want now is something real — something that feels like the city. Scouse Games is loud, unapologetic, and absolutely rooted in local humour. If you come to Liverpool and don’t play Scouse Games… did you even come to Liverpool?”
Forget tribute bands and coach tours. Scouse Games is hosted by real Scousers, powered by thumping 110s, and delivered with razor-sharp banter from start to finish. Each group is led by a dedicated Scouse host who keeps score, controls the chaos, and takes the mick at every opportunity.
The result? A high-energy sporting spectacle that feels less like a tourist attraction — and more like a local legend in the making.
Joe added:
“There’s nothing else like this in the UK, we’re not selling a postcard version of Liverpool — we’re selling the personality. The humour, the energy, the pride. This is the city in inflatable form.”
