The BRICKOSAURS exhibition will arrive in Sefton in just over a month when the dinosaurs descend on Southport town centre.
The DinoTown Southport exhibition, featuring a range of dinosaur-themed activities, will be the headline event during the Easter holidays.
From March 29 to April 14, Southport town centre will feature a collection of 15 brick-built models, created from more than 550,000 bricks.
Lord Street Gardens will be transformed into ‘Prehistoric Park’ during the event, providing visitors with an opportunity to observe some of the dinosaurs up close.
Additional models will be showcased in various locations throughout Southport town center, including Marks and Spencer, TK Maxx, and Wayfarers Arcade.
Children interested in dinosaurs will be given the responsibility of uncovering information and statistics about these creatures. Upon finishing the assigned tasks, they will be eligible to participate in a contest and earn rewards.
Maps for DinoTown, which show the locations of the BRICKOSAURS, competitions, and other activities, will be provided in both digital and physical formats nearer to the event.
At ASDA and Silcock’s Flavours Ice Cream Parlour, visitors can take photos with brick models of dinosaurs and participate in additional competitions for a chance to win prizes related to the Dino theme. These designated areas for taking Dino-themed selfies are called “Dino-Selfie Zones”.
Soon, more information will be disclosed regarding several other endeavors, one of which is the thrilling ‘Dinormous Egg Hunt’.
DinoTown Southport has been organised by Southport BID (Business Improvement District).
