A new campaign is encouraging Liverpool to share their stories of love this Valentine’s Day.
Devised by Liverpool BID Company and Radio City, “Loverpool, the city of love” will run from 13 – 17 February and wants to act as a love letter to the city, while spreading a little joy.
Liverpool BID Company’s Marketing Manager Chloe Gaughan explains what they are looking for:
“We all have places we love in Liverpool. It might be a gallery or the Kop, the view from the Cathedral steps on Hope Street or when you walk out of Lime Street Station. Maybe your favourite spot is a dancefloor with all your friends around you, or a coffee shop where you get some peace and quiet. When we look out and think about the places we love it makes us feel happier and more joyful, and what more do people need in midwinter?”
Breakfast presenter on Radio City, Leanne Campbell, says:
“When we look out from the Radio City Tower it does give you that buzz because it’s such a fantastic city that’s below our feet. We do need a little bit of joy every day and sharing these stories are going to be part of spreading the love across Liverpool”.
Listeners who share their stories with Radio City will be entered into a prize draw to be in with the chance to win a daily prize, including a three course meal for two at Piccolino or an overnight stay at the 4* Radisson Blu.
People can explore the full list of prizes and enter their love stories here https://planetradio.co.uk/city/competitions/win/loverpool/.
