Find out how you can be a part of The Katumba Halloween Carnival

The Katumba Halloween Carnival is coming to the City Centre this October – and you can be a part of it!

Find out how you can catch the pop up Halloween performances and be a part of The Katumba Halloween Carnival by joining their carnival workshops.

Every October, Liverpool drumming and movement troupe, Katumba Transforms the Liverpool City Centre into a playground of imagination, with performances inspiring, and engaging audiences by creating big, bold, visual shows through unexpected spectacle of drums, fire, lights, dance, theatre and more.

This year the Katumba Halloween Carnival is taking a surprising turn: a music, pyrotechnics, and visual showcase at the Bombed Out Church, with pop-up performances around the city centre – all culminating with an explosive finale in Liverpool ONE.

Sharing the fun – and benefits – of carnival practices is Katumba’s mission and it will be no different with their Halloween Carnival. From now until the 30th October, you can take part in carnival and wellbeing workshops in L8; learning skills & building props that you can showcase at the carnival, in addition to wellbeing sessions.

You can choose from a variety of workshops, from lantern making with Luma Creations, to carnival dance with Movema, capoeira with CFA, spoken word, cycle rides & skills with Cycle For Life, Yoga & Sound Bath with Juliana Brazil Movement and more.
