Located in the South of Liverpool, Lark Lane is a great place to visit when socialising. Known as “The Lane” to locals in the area, the place is nicely situated between the stunning Sefton Park and Aigburth Road. Writer’s Block

If it’s a chilled out, relaxed vibe that tickles your fancy, then Writer’s Block is the one for you. The setup is very suited to its name, with an almost Victorian library feel to it. The venue holds a very impressive drinks menu, with craft cocktails, R&H Fine Wines the food selection offers cheeseboards, perfect combination. A visit to Writer’s Block will have you leaving in calm spirit, and leaving you wanting to pay another visit.

Love & Rockets

52 Lark Lane, Liverpool, L17 8UU

Love & Rockets pays homage to the 1980’s Mexican comics of the same name, bringing that little bit of North American atmosphere to the city. Majoring in craft ales, the venue not only offers 14 different ales, 4 of them are their own brews! The venue also offers an array of stone baked pizzas, nachos, wings and dogs to indulge while sipping on a nice cold one. Love & Rockets has lots of midweek jams to listen to while kicking back, with live acoustic sessions, live jazz and blues, this is one cool haunt to visit when on “The Lane”.

Keith’s Wine Bar

If it’s the simple pleasures in life you like, then a visit to Keith’s Wine Bar will be the one for you. The venue oozes the bohemian feel that Lark Lane is well renowned for, the personality of the place will attract people especially all you inner hipsters. With an excellent selection of wines to choose from, Keith’s also offers bottled beers and an assortment of shorts. Keith’s Wine Bar has been open since the 1970’s and the shabby chic look has recently been revamped, so make sure to pay this place a visit.

The Albert

The Albert is the epitome of your down-to-earth local British pub, not only offering traditional hospitality, it is one of Liverpool’s finest historic pubs. Known as a popular pub for Lark Lane regulars, this place offers great value drinks and always has some sort of great entertainment from live music, quizzes, poker nights and so many more events. Also with a nicely set up beer garden, this venue is a winner with the summer drawing upon us.

The Lodge

The venue is a lively gastro pub, serving up Cask Ales with regulars including Timothy Taylor, Deuchars, Hawkshead and Theakson’s.
